The Following list of stages is presented as a service to the professional media community of Orange County. The list is not necessarily comprehensive or current.  Please confirm all details with the individual stage management.
Note: no stage below is audience-rated.

Costa Mesa Studios

Audio only/one studio 30’ x 20’, no grid.

Gear Monkey Studio One

Two studios: main stage is 26’ x 32’ hard “cyc” with 12’ grid, power, lights, camera rentals; smaller stage is closet-size insert with permanent green screen for satellite interviews.

Gear Monkey Irvine Stage-Studio Two

One studio, with 2 cycs with 16’ grid. The first cyc is an L-shaped, two wall cyclorama that is 38’ x 36’ and 16’ tall.  The second cyc is a single wall, pre-lit green screen cyc that is 24’ wide by 16’ tall.   Has a semi-permanent talk show set in one corner, green room, makeup and office spaces. 1200 amps of power and almost 30 tons of silent running AC. Gear Monkey Stage Studio Two Floor plan

Gothic Moon Productions

One large studio, 6,000 sq. feet with 1,400 sq. feet of support space.  Usable clear space is 50’ x 60’ due to pillars, no grid.  Ceiling varies from 14’ to 20’, 2-wall “cyc” stage nearly 30’ square.  Power but no lights, camera rentals.  Has a greenroom, client room, sound booth, makeup room.

KOCE-TV

Small TV studio on campus of Orange Coast Community College.  The station has relocated.  No support such as cameras, lights.  Greenroom, office spaces.

OC Sound Stage

New stage 30’ x 40’, 2-wall hard “cyc” at oblique angle with 18’ grid.  Power cyc lights included. Ready to go for Green Screen. OC Sound Stage

Post Modern Creative

Two studios: main stage is 20’ x 40’ with 16’ grid.  No “cyc.” One small permanent green screen stage with camera for satellite interviews.  Lights and camera rental.

Silver Dream Factory

Small industrial building with standing sets for interior airplane, prison cell, diner, bedroom.  Clear stage approx. 20’ x 20’, with 16’ grid.  Lights and camera rental.

Sound Matrix Studios

South Bay Studios

True studio complex –15 stages, largest is 100’ x 150’ smallest is 60x 80 –does a lot of automotive & infomercials one studio has a in-floor turntable. Only 2 stages rated for sound- stage 1: 60’ x 120 and stage 5: 560’ x 80’ / most have 25’ grid; lighting, grip and all support available
